But as the movement to 'normalize' it grows and more and more states chose regulation over prohibition, what happens when weed goes corporate? What impact does it have on violence, public health and state finances? Are the key beneficiaries big corporations? In Holland, the law protects consumers but not the sellers, who operate in a grey legal area. Legally-grown marijuana in America is now more competitive than the marijuana grown in Mexico and sold on black market. Petty dealers are being forced to sell harder products.
