Summary

Flash Gordon: When energy waves pull the moon out of orbit, New York Jets quarterback Flash Gordon unwittingly finds himself heading for the planet Mongo, where, with the assistance from beautiful Dale Arden, he will take on Ming the Merciless and rescue humankind.

The last starfighter: Alex is an 18-year old Earthling who has an extraordinary talent for video game wizardry and conquers the Starfighter game. He is then recruited by alien Centauri to be part of an elite legion of fighters. Leaving behind his trailer park existence, he heads to the outer regions of space. Alex becomes the last hope for the beleaguered Star League and hundreds of worlds, including Earth.

Battlestar Galactica: In the deepest reaches of space, the fight to save all human life from extinction has begun. Hoping for lasting peace following centuries of intense warfare, the Twelve Colonies gather to sign a treaty with their dreaded enemies, the Cylons. But after an act of treachery, the Cylons launch a devasting surprise attack, destroying the Colonies home planet. A lone flagship, the Galactica, remains to aid the surviving colonists on their epic journey to their new home - far-off Earth.

Dune: It is the year 10191. Arrakis is a desert planet, which contains the only source of 'Melange, ' which is necessary for space travel. Two rival families, the Atreides and the Harkonnens, fight to control of the mining operations. When Duke Leto Atreides is assassinated by the evil Baron Harkonnen, his son Paul and Leto's wife, Lady Jessica, flee deep into the desert and are befriended by natives of Arrakis. Paul learns that he has special powers and can see into the future. Paul unites the natives and forms a army of warriors, leading them into battle against Baron Harkonnen and the corrupt Emperor Padishah Shaddam IV.
